I booked a 2 week stay at an airbnb in Lawndale. When I arrived I noticed some concerns: the bathroom was filthy - hair on the floor and in the tub, toothpaste and spit in the sink, microwave completely dirty like something had exploded inside, no bowls in the cabinets.

When I confronted the owner, Charley, I was told he had fired his maid. I cleaned the bathroom myself but informed him this was really not my job to clean a shared bathroom upon arrival. Cleaning never occurred throughout the week and my final nite was spent waking up at 2:30 a.m. with loud music because Charley decided to have a party.

The music stopped at 4 a.m.

I checked out 1 week early and requested a refund and supplied detailed notes along with pictures. I was told by airbnb they could not refund my money since I chose to leave on my own accord.

Monetary Loss: $660.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I liked: Attempt to mitigate the situation.

I didn't like: Lack of efficiency in customer service, Unjust decisions, Deceptive listing and false claim, Indifference to my complaint.
