We became ill and are still recovering from the mold exposure at home.

We were only there for a few hours and started to feel bad due to mold in house, so we left. We expect a full refund.

User's recommendation: Customer service at Airbnb is poor. They will not talk to you. We fled from a mold house and cannot get a refund or anyone to talk to us.

This was and is out of my control that my job was canceled, and now charges that I have to pay for on my credit card, and I have a family to take care. I feel that Airbnb should refund the total amount of the money charged on my credit card, since this was out of my control that the job was canceled.

Airbnb - I have not received my refund

Hi , I had booked a bnb on August 27th . When I got to the place to check in one of the host that lived there said I couldnt come in before I even got a chance to check in. so he called the owner of the house and I had to leave.He then called the cops and told me I was going to receive my refund back . I was suppose to receive my refund back because I paid for a whole entire house and when I got there other people was living there . It is going on 2 weeks and I still havent received my refund back yet . This is highly unprofessional and I do not want to go to the authoritys about this .

Thank you Pissed Consumer my issue with Air bnb was finally resolved after a month of not hearing anything. I kept calling Air bnb nothing, tried emails nothing.

And then I contacted your web site and a week later someone from Air bnb's customer service contacted me. She was able to fix the problem with my account and was able to get me a full refund.

So my reservation was taking off of my account, all of my messages with the host are gone, you can no longer find the house on Airbnb website. It is as if the host and the locations have vanished. I have not received a cancellation notice or a refund. I have called every number I can find to talk with someone with Airbnb to get this situation resolved and nothing. I have emailed nothing, tried contacting the host nothing, but they definitely took the money out of my account. I want a refund for the whole reservation. On the Airbnb site they state you can get a whole refund as long as it is 14 days before the reservation and my reservation is 30 days away, so I do not understand the problem. I do not understand why Airbnb makes it so difficult to get in contact with someone in customer service. And how does a whole reservation and host just disappear with the money and there is no way to contact anyone to resolve the issue, if you ask me it super shady. I just want my money back and to move on from this horrible experience. I hope someone can help please.

Hi my name is Nicole G. This is my first time using Airbnb I accidentally canceled but still needed the home I haven't gotten a refund as well and the Host Peter and I have been communicating and we can't figure out how to reinstate it. I've spoken to a few people over the phone right after the cancellation as well as today been told it would be taken care of but I haven't heard from anyone yet and check in is at 5 today. Can you please help. I also don't have the funds to pay again and I don't live at this location so it's my only place to stay. Thank you.

If I were everyone, your safer with booking.com. I am going to write an article about them. They take your money even if your cancellation is due to Corona Virus Outbreak. The host babes me that she went bankrupt and Airbnb is charging you their service fee, and all other fees. Saying cz they entertained you. I booked February 28 and cancelled 3 weeks later. They all refused until It get to the point that I had to email the Florida Attorney General and so on. I am a business owner myself and I had to break my policy and follow government protocol and respect peoples priority and pockets. Please Im begging you, do not book with Airbnb. Booking.com is about the same price and better people

User's recommendation: Booking.com . DO NOT USE AIR BNB. And make sure you save all your conversation with them. They change their minds and manipulate you by telling you to cancel close to you dates. That’s so they can deny more money!
