I need a refund

The British government have put us back on a one month LOCKDOWN and noone can fly away on holiday. I have cancelled my reservation and i would like a full refund. HMRHHDH3NF kind regards Paul Thompson Following on from this, an Airbnb Ambassador contacted me and asked if I had a link to the UK government's travel restrictions. I replied and sent them 2 LINKS. As of yet they have not even replied to me &;;; I still haven't received my refund. I checked on their website today and they have now updated their website with all countries travel information and restrictions. So in effect, the information that they asked me for, they now have it published on their very own website. Their lack of communication with me has left me feeling very frustrated. My £561.97 has still not been refunded and I need this money back from them so as I can book new accommodation when my country is out of LOCKDOWN.

My rental was canceled. I had already put down my deposit and everything was confirmed so I sent out invitations to 7 friends to celebrate my wifes birthday and graduating nursing school.

I made spa/dinner reservations and had museum tickets. All of this was ruined because the host said they were busy and couldnt host a 3 day stay. But there was no stay limit expressed before she confirmed my stay and took my deposit. This excuse is not good enough for the plans that were ruined.

Her name is Virginia. Her cabin is called Heavenlights cabin in Pigeon Forge. Her cabin is beautiful but her customer service and loyalty to her costumers are beyond poor. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

And Airbnb did nothing to accommodate my loss and all they said was their will b a penalty to the host. But from my understand, it takes multiple cancellations before their are actual repercussions and that does absolutely nothing with the situation I am left in.

There were no more cabins to accommodate me and my guest and the ones they did have were over 2000 dollars a night. The is unacceptable.

I have been trying to work with Airbnb to get a refund for a trip I was unable to take because of COVID. It's a long story, but suffice to say their website posted information that was contrary to their practice. They have completely ignored my correspondence for over two months. A search of the web reveals that there are hundreds of people who have had similiar experiences. I would love to see a class action suit filed against them. They deserve to be run out of business.

Airbnb refuses to return my $4,000 a gift card credit that I had on my account I had not spent them either

While I was staying in an Airbnb they closed my account also I had no access to book anything in the future which was fine but I did have gift cards totaling $4,000 on my account and they have refused to even talk to me about it or anything they just think they can take my $4,000 , it has been such a nightmare trying to get in contact with someone there at that company

Question about new Chicago Laws

Hello, This is part of a letter I received from the City of Chicago. I see there is a registration fee, but it shows that I am in compliance with registration. Does Airbnb handle the $125 fee? Am I in compliance with the city's laws at this this time? Also, do I require the short term licensing as well? Please advise accordingly. Thanks, II. We have been promised many things including contacting the Host, The renter, The bank where they charged 15 withdrawals in one day. This was a simple computer issue but Airbnb will not communicate with us all. The day after all the issues I received a from an Airbnb agent promising that he would fix everything and contact all people. The call was recorded by both Airbnb and myself and his promises included him making calls as soon as we hung up that minute. I thanked him and praised Airbnb only to find that 7 days later they still will not keep one promise. We will receive a text from Airbnb every few days asking me what it is we want and I tell them politely that all we ask is to do what was promised is all. I have now lost not only money and time but our tax accountant tells us that all the charges will be taxed as well. I am again begging Airbnb to please keep the promises they made when they called me and for 10 minutes told me how sorry they are and that they will fix everything. It's very obvious that Airbnb does not have support for us in Mexico and we must let the people know the truth! My god how can they make so much money from both the host and the renter with absolutely no support in any way for the clients. Hello: Maybe you should monitor your hosts closer. I booked a unit for two weeks for my wife who had travelled back during the pandemic. This unit was booked in order to comply with the government rules on self isolation. The unit was paid for and I received confirmation. On the day prior to my wife's arrival, I was to take possession of the unit. I was notified of a change in address at approx. 6pm. I was not impressed and had no alternative but to take the unit offered because of the late change by the host. Last day, really! His excuse was it happens, the two units differed in so many ways. The unit offered was far from what I booked. It took 24 hours for the AC to be repaired. You at Airbnb did absolutely nothing to fix this. Pathetic! This was an $1800 dollar lesson. Also, I learned my possesion violated the Condo Corp rules for that building. Maybe you need to screen you hosts closer. This was not the first time my wife and I booked through Airbnb. I did manage to locate the actual owner of the unit who was employed at RBC, she was unaware of the use if her unit. It violated her lease. It seems that Airbnb is interested in collecting there fee. I don' imagine I'll get a reply. I believe you simply have no interest in correcting the issue. Just my opinion. Stefano Caserta 416435****

I want to inform you that their privacy policies are badly restrained in Spanish, I cancel a reservation and now my hostess Linda doesn't want to return the money. Later he told me that he could return the money if I could rent The room again but I have an accident on Sunday and I would no longer travel to Canada and request my refund due to my accident.
