Hello

Thank you for answering my email and take my situation in consideration

After a long process and endless conversations between the airbnb support and my host i was refunded partially

However i was charged for 2 nights that i haven't even used

As i previously explained i had to cancel my reservation after the check in that it was around 3 pm and i contacted the host around 6 pm

I've tried to cancel multiple times but every time i try to click on it , a blank page with error message appears

I took some screenshots and sent them to the host and to the support as well

But unfortunately they were not a help

So i found myself charged for 2 nights which is completely unfair

I'm a host as well and i was planning to host another listing as well and manage it more professionally, but i don't think i will be able to ever since this bad experience .

My host owner called on 3th of Sep. to air bnb customer...He said to me charged Fr.100 for his house...but I don't know why become Fr.230...seems some details made wrong... He wrote down messages also said he will keep Fr.100...others will return to me...but, now...seems the customer service had problem with payments.. Can you please check 3th of Sep the host called and customer service also talked to me on the same day...

Booked an apartment in Santa Monica with Shawn. When I arrived, I was directed to an apartment in Los Angeles. Stayed 1 night of 21. The "host" wouldn't refund my $4000 and Airbnb wouldn't help. Airbnb said they couldn't do anything because of the host's "strict cancellation policy". Turns out it is illegal for Airbnb to allow short term rentals in LA - anything less than 31 days. They knew and did nothing. And then there is Shawn with his moldy, gross apartment in Barrington Plaza...

I spent two months calling and writing AirBnB to get my $550.00 payout.I even wrote to its headquarters in San Francisco. I was baffled that for the first 30 days, Customer Service agents did nothing more than write to me (in the website's chat), "I'm sorry, I understand." After a month of trying to get help, one agent told me via chat, "all you can do is wait because this is an engineering problem." I still haven't heard from AirBnB but I did receive my payout finally.

Preferred solution: Payment of interest on the money they held for two months. Also, I think AirBnB should give me some sort of gift voucher to use for a future AirBnB stay.

I rented out my caravan through Airbnb and still waiting for my funds.Airbnb claims that I booked an apartment in France back in 2016 and that I made a late cancellation, so now I owe Airbnb 3500 euro insted of they paying me for my caravan rental.

I never made a reservasjon in France back in 2016 and I can see from the dialog that my account was hacked (for some reason) and now Airbnb has stolen my funds.

The biggest problem is that I'm trying to get some kind of dialog with Airbnb, and they keep sending me in circles to one case handler after another, and I'm on my 15'Th now, who keep telling me that someone will contact me "soon". No one never has, so now there is no dialog, no funds and no patience.

I keep calling and asking for help and no on contacts me with an update. It has been weeks now.

Customer service is hole. They lie to you to get you off of the phone. They also don't know how their support team steps work. The support team itself is non-existent. A simple issue with my login access has become a month long problem with no updates or solutions. They do not care about you. At all!

I operate in Nigeria where Airbnb cannot make payment settlement to hosts. On the account of this I asked for a booking to be cancelled and I am being asked to pay a penalty. Are they kidding me?

We accepted for 4 wk stay by local man. Then learned he'd not be there, was Lutheran Family Services with large refuge family. LFS rep to be there odd days.City has 30 day max. He begged. Last 3 day extension AirBnb lowered rate for the 44 days and charged us $736. Our Ins. Covered 75K Airclaim 2800. With much grief. Closed Feb. 18 for 6.5 month. Now guests stay knowing there is more work needed done. Having to close 3 weeks for some of that work. More lost income. Got Airclaim check this week.

I booked apartment in Airbnb for 29 days. When I come to the apartment, wash basin was impossible to use.

There was music till 12 20 a.m. in the apartment , I spoke with neighbors, and they confirmed that loud music almost every day. At daytime, I tried to sleep because I couldn't get enough sleep at night, but the shop (the name is Guess) in front of the apartment window was with very loud music till 6 or 7 p. m.

(the time that this shop works). I was in full stress two days because I couldn't sleep normally (the window noise isolation is very bad). And I booked another apartment because I couldn't live in this noise, my brain stopped think normally because of streets and not getting enough sleep, also a broken wash basin was an issue. I work remotely from home, so I can't even get read of this horrible noise at daytime.

I explained this information to the host, but he rejected to give my money back for even 3 weeks of my booking.

I called Airbnb support, but they say they can't help me. After very long negotiations and stress we agreed with host that he give me 700 dollars back (but I paid almost 1300 and lived 3 days, it also includes Airbnb service fee).

There is very hard times for me know, I am a refugee from Ukraine and I am getting so much stress because of the war and had stress also because of apartment booking. I lost around 400 dollars(if not include days I lived in stress) because of this situation, and I need double pay for another apartment.

For me know this money is significant, but I decided that I can't work and sleep normally at that apartment and for me it's more important than that money. But I can't trust now Airbnb, I booked apartment through other service.
